Vernon Wright
Vernon Joseph Wright, 65, of Atikokan, Ontario passed away peacefully on July 8, 2016 surrounded by family at Thunder Bay Regional Hospital.
Vernon was born in Fort Frances, Ontario on September 14, 1950 to Donald and Laura Wright. Vernon grew up on the lake and had a passion for fishing, hunting, and the great outdoors. He will be missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.
Vernon is survived by his children Kim (Mike) of Marathon, Ontario, Janet (Brian) of Winnipeg, and Rory (Babes) of Atikokan, grandchildren Shaina, Paige, Tyson and Tristan, sister-in-law Margaret, nieces Tiffany and Valerie, and nephew Donald. He was predeceased by his father Don (1990), mother Laura (2003), and brother Ed (2012).
A private memorial service held by his family will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Vernon’s memory to Tamarak House in Thunder Bay would be greatly appreciated.
