Arnold Nelson Angus
It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Arnold Nelson Angus, 86, on November 22, 2013, in Atikokan.
Arnold was born October 14, 1927 in Barwick, Ontario. He moved to Atikokan in 1957 where he resided until his passing. He worked at Steep Rock Iron Mines as an equipment operator, and when the mine shut down, he drove trucks for Stan Bates Construction and the MNR until he retired.
Arnold leaves to mourn his passing three sisters, Joyce Jackson (Len) of Winnipeg, Rita Westover, of Thunder Bay, and Lois Brusven (Gene), of Barwick, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Leslie and Mildred Angus, and brothers John, Ellwood and Russell Angus, and sister Dorothy Thompson.
At Arnold’s request there will be no service. Donations may be made to the Atikokan General Hospital.
