Hilda Busch
Hilda Florence Busch went to be with the Lord on Tuesday May 12, 2015 at Rainycrest with her family by her side.
Hilda was born in Whitewood, Saskatchewan, May 22, 1918, to Edmund and Rachel Brown. She would have been 97 on the 22nd of this month.
Hilda married the love of her life, William Busch on Oct 15, 1941. They lived several years in Saskatchewan, and later they moved to Ontario where Bill worked in the mines at Geraldton and Atikokan. Hilda was a homemaker and a great mother to their children Marilyn and Ken. Hilda loved to fish on their pontoon boat at Calm Lake. She was a very active member of the Riverview United Church. Hilda had also received a 50 year service award from the Atikokan Legion.
Hilda was predeceased by her husband in 1987, her brothers Edward, Frank, and her sister May.
Hilda leaves behind her daughter Marilyn (Roy) Brown, and son Ken (Nansi) Busch. Also surviving are her grandchildren: Lori (Gilbert) Chan, Bonnie (Mark) Broman, Darryl Brown (Hazel), Tawnya Busch (Pablo) and Tara Busch (James); great grandchildren: Sandra (Evan) Gowriluk, Melissa (Joel) Patterson, Lee Chan, Chris Broman (Claire), Rylee Broman (Brennan), Shania, Robbie and great-great grandchildren: Mckoel and Jax Patterson; brother-in-law Norman (Yvette) Busch, Lloyd (Joyce) Busch, and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held Tuesday May 19, (10 am) at Rainycrest Hallet Hall in Fort Frances, Ontario, with Rev. Barbara Miller of the Knox United Church officiating.
In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or a charity of your choice.
